The Entrepreneurship Minor for Non-Business Students is designed for students in any major (other than Business Administration) who wish to develop entrepreneurial skills– either to start their own business and/or to enhance their ability to think innovatively in a current organization.

Requirements for the Entrepreneurship Minor

The Minor requires 5 courses and is 20 units. There are 4 required courses and one elective. It is recommended that students take the elective (either BUS 386MG or BUS 451) as their last course in the Entrepreneurship Minor.

  • BUS 451  Entrepreneurship / Small Business Management (4)

BUS 360, and BUS 453 will give you an understanding of small businesses and how entrepreneurs position and present themselves and their products/services and how they make decisions.

BUS 230A and BUS 454 help in understanding how to raise/source and manage money.

BUS 386MG or BUS 451 allows to deepen knowledge and develop an idea for a business or entrepreneurial pursuit.
