The WBI serves as an intellectual and industry center for faculty, students, and the business community. Founded in 1996 as a partnership between the wine industry and the School of Business at Sonoma State University, the WBI provides cutting-edge research that informs industry best practices and program curriculum. 

We offer a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The department emphasizes experiential education, innovation, and industry collaboration, providing students with hands-on learning opportunities, world-class faculty, and state-of-the-art laboratories with advanced technology.

Our program provides a cutting-edge curriculum with an emphasis on hands-on experience. Our small classes, teaching-focused faculty, strong student clubs and community come together to make learning a fun, interesting, and valuable experience. We are a scholarly group of faculty, students, and staff working together to explore how the world functions at the molecular level. Our curriculum is focused on providing student opportunities to work with relevant instrumentation, to learn experimental design, execution, and troubleshooting, and to practice various forms of scientific communication. 

Physics is the most fundamental of all the scientific disciplines. Ranging from quarks to the cosmos, from the infinitesimal to the infinite, and from the applied to the abstract, the study of physics seeks to explain all the complex and wondrous phenomena of the natural world in terms of a few fundamental laws and principles.

We offer a dynamic learning environment, exciting research, training opportunities, and intensive mentoring of students at all levels. Our faculty are dedicated educators and scholars who engage in primary research to address diverse topics in the biological sciences. Educational and research areas include ecology, evolutionary biology, genetics, molecular and cell biology, and physiology.

Kinesiology studies human movement from multiple perspectives – biological, behavioral, socio-cultural – to prepare students to lead and participate in a modern, complex society. We prepares students for careers or further study in fitness, health promotion, fitness assessment and exercise prescription, research, and the allied health professions, such as medicine, physical or occupational therapy, athletic training, physician assistant, and chiropractic.
